Set on a rare one-acre preserve-backed lot in the gated community of Saguaro Highlands, Saguaro Reserve is a warm modern desert estate designed in quiet dialogue with its surroundings. The residence is composed around a central courtyard, with honed stone, warm wood, plaster finishes, and subtle metal accents throughout. A detached wellness casita houses a sauna and red light therapy space. The design prioritizes the relationship between the interior and the Sonoran preserve beyond the glass. Spaces

Art ProgramTwenty-two original paintings by Scottsdale artist Loren Yagoda are installed throughout the residence. Yagoda is a contemporary abstract modernist painter known for highly textured work in a neutral palette of whites, taupes, and soft charcoals. The pieces were selected in direct dialogue with the architecture, chosen the way every other finish was chosen: for the specific space, the specific light, and the relationship to the preserve beyond. lorenyagoda.com
