Desert Escape is a full home remodel and furnishing project in Paradise Valley, Arizona, designed as a private sanctuary for clients who wanted their home to feel like a high-end retreat. The scope covered the living room, foyer, kitchen, dining room, primary bedroom, fireplace area, powder bath, and office.

Paradise Valley sits at a different price point and expectation level than most of the Valley, and the design here reflects that. The direction was Minimalist Luxe with natural influences, which means clean-lined furnishings, warm stone elements, textural fabrics, and a palette that stays quiet but never feels empty. Nothing is there that doesn’t earn its place.

The primary bedroom and office were designed to function as true escapes, spaces where you actually decompress rather than just sleep or close a door. The fireplace surround became a focal point in the living room and was redesigned to anchor the space with architectural presence. The kitchen and dining areas were updated to feel seamless with the rest of the home’s aesthetic without sacrificing function.

Paradise Valley interior design projects require a different kind of precision. The properties are significant, the expectations are high, and the materials need to perform at a level that matches the investment. Living with Lolo managed the full scope of this project, from design concept through construction and installation, under our Arizona ROC general contractor license.

What makes Desert Escape stand out is the restraint. It would have been easy to fill a home like this with statement pieces and visual noise. Instead the design trusts the materials, the proportions, and the light to carry the room.

If you are looking for a Paradise Valley interior designer who handles both design and construction, Living with Lolo offers full-service design-build.
